Responsibilities:
Assist with recruiting by working with applicant screening, calendar entries, background checks, reference checks, offer letters, and relocation, as applicable
Assist with the new hire orientation process
Coordinate post-offer testing and background checks
Assist with benefit enrollment meetings and preparation of enrollment material
Prepare wage, position, and level change documents for approval
Maintain documentation and tracking of employee disciplinary steps
Update the HR communication television system weekly with supplied content
Update Applicant Tracking System (ATS) with new hires; off-board terminated employees; update current employee HRIS information
Assist and motivate with completion of ‘Berry University’ Courses
Organize HR department records and maintaining employee files
Assist internal customers on various employment questions
Prepare weekly and monthly HR reports
Maintain and update points in attendance log through HRIS system
Assist with payroll as needed
Order quarterly recognition items when contacted by corporate
HR Administer security badges, and send notification of all personnel changes
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Exceptional communication and organization skills
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or equivalent experience, is required
Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint required. Previous experience using HRIS software is preferred
Must be detail-oriented and able to complete tasks in a timely manner
Working knowledge of labor laws and requirements preferred
Ability to work with confidential information
Two-to-four years of experience in Human Resources preferred
PHR/SHRM certification a plus
The starting salary for this position is expected to be between $60,000to $70,000. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Position may also be eligible for Amcor’s Management Incentive Plan/Sales Incentive Plan, which is an annual bonus program based on business and individual performance, as well as medical coverage and other health and welfare benefits.
