Job Description

Responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware and software solutions in casino locations. Provides customer support, preventive maintenance, training, and administrative reporting. Drives quality and safety standards and collaborates with dispatch and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Incident Handling:
    Perform troubleshooting via detailed analysis of hardware and software failures with all diagnostic tools. Includes repair of hardware on component level, cleaning and adjustment of mechanical components, and configuration and installation of software.
  • Preventive Maintenance:
    Perform routine checks according to documented procedures and refill consumables as directed.
  • IMAC/R:
    Install, move, add, change, and remove hardware and software components.
  • Customer Training:
    Instruct and train customers on usage and operation of installed hardware and software, maintaining quality measurements and overall customer satisfaction.
  • Process Tasks:
    Receive briefing for incidents and orders, update dispatch of issues, provide detailed debriefing, and proactively inform customers.
  • Continuous Improvement Process:
    Observe technical or process problems, inform about potential issues, and provide improvement suggestions. Use corporate tools for knowledge sharing.
  • Training:
    Participate in regular hardware and software training, and receive certification after passing relevant tests.
  • Administration:
    Install field change orders and other equipment modifications, maintain accurate dispatch information and administrative reports.
  • Security and Safety:
    Drive safely, obey traffic laws, and maintain the integrity and security of company vehicle, tools, and documentation.
  • Medical and Travel: 75% travel expected; be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, talk and hear. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
  • Customer Communication:
    Respond to telephone calls and emails for technical support, represent company image professionally, and conduct on‑site technical and sales training.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
  • Demonstrate quality technical, electronic repair and maintenance skills.
  • Maintain working knowledge of technology, systems, applications, tools and resources used in office and field.
  • Proficient with general Windows operating systems and platforms.
  • Stay current with field procedures, practices and concepts.
  • Maintain a professional attitude and appearance.
  • Work effectively in a team environment and maintain customer‑focused attitude.
Work Experience
  • Minimum two years of experience in IT, mechanical or electronic related profession; ATM technical experience preferred. Associate’s degree in a technology field acceptable.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret and understand technical documentation.
  • PC literacy and application of relevant tools and methods.
  • Product knowledge of ATM industry highly desirable.
  • Experience servicing NRT Quick Jack or other ticket redemption products in a casino environment is an asset.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Frequent standing, walking, sitting, hand use, reaching; occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Vision requirements: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, focus adjustment.
  • Work in moderate noise; drive long distances in traffic; exposure to inclement weather.
Education and Training
  • Successful completion of an undergraduate university degree or an IT/business program from a community college.
  • Accredited certifications are an asset.
Technical Requirements
  • Maintain high level of technical skills related to the systems and applications used.
  • Experience with network technologies.
  • Proficient in all Windows operating system platforms.
  • Familiarity with variety of field concepts, practices and procedures.
Experience
  • Above average written and verbal communication and management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with all levels of professional staff.
  • Superb organizational skills.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Committed team player; can support group objectives.
  • Proven ability to work independently or complete tasks amid ambiguity.
  • Potential licensing by Gaming Regulatory Commissions; background checks performed by company.
  • Experience with casinos or game development is an asset.
