Job OverviewA Manager Statistical Programming provides timely support to the study team on all programming matters per project strategies. The incumbent leads programming for processing data from clinical studies, overseeing deliverables from single study through regulatory approval, product launch, data monitoring boards and annual reports. The role includes implementation of programming standards, code maintenance, and adherence to regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop expertise in therapeutic area or standard tools and work independently to prepare, execute, report, and document project activities.
- Lead programming and QC of tables, listings, graphs, and systems supporting analysis, using CDISC SDTM/ADaM and Regeneron methodologies.
- Manage submission deliverables, track progress, allocate resources, and ensure timely completion.
- Provide programming support for complex presentations and statistical ad‑hoc requests.
- Represent programming in multidisciplinary study teams to ensure quality and timely analysis and reporting up to regulatory approval and product launch.
- Lead application development when applicable; represent programming to user audience.
- Collaborate with management to determine resource requirements and manage hiring of contractors and permanent staff, including resume review, interviews, and performance feedback.
- Advise direct reports on data retention procedures and overall compliance.
- Master’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related discipline.
- 8‑10 years of relevant experience in SAS programming and data processing for clinical trials (or 5+ years in a biopharma/health related industry with some project and people‑management experience).
- SAS certification desirable.
- Strong knowledge of CDISC SDTM/ADaM standards and experience with Regeneron tools and methodologies.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
Annual salary range: $128,600 - $210,000 (U.S. based positions).
