CITY OF CINCINNATI – Senior Computer Programmer Analyst (CLEAR)
The County Law Enforcement Applied Regionally (CLEAR) section of the Enterprise Technology Solutions (ETS) division seeks a Senior Computer Programmer Analyst with strong database programming and database administration skills. The role assists in the analysis of city, county, and criminal justice agencies' data processing needs; assists in design, testing, and implementation of systems; performs database design, implementation, and maintenance; and administers new and existing databases.
Other related duties may be required.

QualificationsRequired education and experience include one of the following:
- Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in computer science, information technology, computer programming, criminal justice, geography, or a related field, and one year of professional paid work experience performing work similar to the listed examples.
- 45 quarter credit hours from an accredited college or university (30 in computer science/IT/programming) and two years of professional paid work experience performing similar work. A certification program (e.g., Novell or Windows NT engineer) may substitute for one year of experience.
- Valid driver’s license for some positions
- Some positions may require criminal background investigation and fingerprinting
- May be required to work irregular hours and be on-call

Environmental and Physical ConditionsOffice environment with exposure to computer screens; travel to sites within the City/Hamilton County may be required. Duties require sitting/standing for extended periods and basic manual dexterity; ability to operate an assigned vehicle as required.
Probationary Period: Twelve Months.
Supervision Exercised: May supervise professional, technical, and clerical personnel.
