Body Weld Technician

Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Offline and/or online robot programming.
• Confirm that new model equipment meets set standards and performs as intended.
• Prepare and confirm new Body Chassis equipment at the vendors.
• Support Body Chassis Seibi activity at Plants from installation to the start of production.
• Participate in effective written and verbal communication with Machine Seibi Team Members, Project Leaders, Management, and outside groups regarding issues that require resolution.
• Promote teamwork and conduct On The Job Training (OJT) with 'hands-on' tasks.
• Support Chassis Seibi projects and engage in travel (or dispatch) to U.S., Canada, and/or Mexico Plants and suppliers, as well as foreign travel, including Japan, Canada, and Mexico. Commonly work overtime, including weekends and holidays.
• 50% Travel – KY and Indiana location travel is going on as of now. 2 weeks' timeline for travel. High chances to travel to Japan so make sure candidates are eligible to travel.
• Overtime: 50% - Average 50/hr per week (Usually it is 20hr weekend + 40 hr )
