Auxiliary Pay Plan
Pay Grade: 7
Days: 226
QUALIFICATIONS Education/Certification- High School Diploma or GED
- Texas Peace Officer License issued by Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE)
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Individual recommended for the position must pay a $46.98 fingerprinting fee by credit card as part of the application process to be considered for employment. (Fee is subject to change.)
- General knowledge of criminal investigation, police report writing, and criminal laws
- Training and ability to subdue offenders, including use of firearms and handcuffs
- Bonded as required by Texas Education Code §37.081(h)
- Ability to pass required physical, psychiatric, and drug tests
- Ability to work well with youth and adults
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Possess strong organizational and time management skills
Experience in law enforcement or related work experience
