Supply Chain Intern – Forest, Ohio
We are looking for an energetic Supply Chain Intern to work under close supervision of our Purchasing, Planning, and Scheduling team. This role is essential in supporting our purchasing and supply chain operations and providing critical data insights to help the team make better decisions.
Responsibilities- Coordinate part tracking and expediting activities, communicate change requirements to Purchasing, Production, & Suppliers.
- Perform ERP system data integrity maintenance.
- Perform data entry, run status reports, file and perform other general administrative duties as needed.
- Lead special projects as assigned.
- Actively working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or related field.
- Strong work ethic, leadership abilities and interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated academic performance with a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or better.
- Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn, be mentored, and improve.
- Solid understanding of inventory flow, inventory management and planning concepts.
- Permanent authorization to work in the United States.
