Purchasing Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a Purchasing Specialist to support procurement operations by sourcing materials, negotiating with vendors, and ensuring timely delivery to meet production needs.
Responsibilities
+ Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery with suppliers.
+ Source materials and manage purchase orders to support production schedules.
+ Monitor inventory levels and analyze purchasing needs.
+ Track and resolve delayed shipments with vendors.
+ Collaborate with logistics to ensure timely material flow.
+ Review requisitions for accuracy and approvals.
+ Prepare reports on market trends, costs, and supplier performance.
+ Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
+ Support cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
Essential Skills
+ Expertise in purchasing and procurement processes.
+ Proficiency in managing purchase orders and inventory.
+ Strong negotiation skills.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
+ Experience in vendor management.
+ Ability to effectively enter and manage data.
Additional
Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
+ 2+ years of purchasing/procurement experience.
+ Strong decision-making skills.
+ Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
+ Strong communication skills across internal teams and vendors.
+ Experience in the automotive or manufacturing sector is a plus.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
