Logistics Analyst

Ryder System is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Analyst to optimize transportation and warehousing operations across our North American network. In this role, you will analyze freight flows, carrier performance, and warehouse activities to improve service, reduce costs, and support a safety-first culture. You will build and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs, support network design and routing decisions, and coordinate with operations, engineering, and customer teams.

The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, experience with TMS/WMS or similar tools, and the ability to translate data into clear operational recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze transportation and warehousing data to identify cost and service improvement opportunities
• Develop and maintain logistics reports, dashboards, and performance KPIs
• Support network design, routing, and mode optimization initiatives
• Monitor carrier and warehouse performance and recommend corrective actions
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, IT, and customer teams on logistics solutions
• Prepare forecasts, cost models, and what-if analyses for logistics scenarios
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across TMS, WMS, and related systems
• Support implementation of new logistics processes, tools, and technology
• Document standard operating procedures and reporting standards
• Contribute to a safety-first, customer-focused culture in daily operations
