Job Summary
ABM is looking for a Facilities Operations Supervisor to oversee crew members in Georgetown, KY. The ideal candidate is a proven team leader who fosters trust, meets productivity and customer service goals, and communicates effectively.
Shift & PaySecond Shift: Monday – Friday, 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm with weekend availability once per month.
Pay: $20.00 per hour. Salary range may vary based on education, experience, skills, and location. Eligibility for company incentive or bonus program.
Responsibilities- Manage and provide leadership to leads, technicians, and staff assigned to the buildings.
- Assist with team training.
- Oversee operations in assigned building.
- Manage security of keys and access cards for the property.
- Report work orders for maintenance.
- Ensure quality of jobs and confirm completion with Manager; check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly.
- Complete order forms accurately.
- Coordinate equipment usage and inventories.
- Manage daily employee lunches and breaks.
- Maintain daily shift reports for managers.
- Perform basic administrative, payroll, and attendance functions as required.
- Communicate with Account Managers to monitor staffing levels.
- Provide technical guidance, interpret policies and procedures, and assist front‑line employees.
- Ensure shift schedules (days off, vacations, etc.) are set at least a week in advance.
- Work with leadership to cover all callouts.
- Accommodate increased/decreased client staffing requests.
- Manage the No‑Fault Attendance Policy.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Ensure services are performed as contracted and directed by the project manager.
- Troubleshoot potential problems and concerns.
- Enforce the company’s quality control monitoring and safety programs.
- Conduct quality‑of‑service inspections.
- Attend ABM training workshops when scheduled.
- Develop operational improvement plans and implement process changes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and all federal, state and local regulations.
- Submit all paperwork, including terminations, to the project manager promptly.
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
- Direct work, appraise performance, reward and discipline subordinates, address complaints, resolve problems and terminate employees as required.
- Good written and verbal communication skills; bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
- At least 2 years of custodial or facilities supervisory experience (preferred).
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and chemical handling/storage procedures.
- Proven ability to manage a large team and/or staff.
