Job Description

Job Title: CNC Machine Operator

1st or 2nd Shift Contract-to-Hire $25-27/hr

Operate HAAS VF-2 CNC machines within a cell of 2-4 machines. This is a production type machining role involving repetitive tasks. Responsibilities include basic machine troubleshooting and maintenance, communicating with the Value Stream Manager and Maintenance team for major breakdowns, changing tooling for various job functions, and placing jigs in machines for different products/jobs. The role involves machining the outer frame of products and drilling holes for accessories, adjusting the machine as needed, and cross-training on other tools, cals, and gauges.

Machines will be pre-programmed by the engineering team, so no programming or full set-ups are required.

• Operating HAAS VF-2 CNC machines
• Basic machine troubleshooting and maintenance

• Machining and drilling

This is a fully on-site position in Cleveland, Ohio.

The facility is very clean, organized, mild in temperature, and well-lit. It is very quiet, and employees are allowed to listen to their headphones (one earbud) during work hours. Casual dress, including gym shoes and eye protection, is required. Available shifts are 1st shift (5 AM - 1 PM) and 2nd shift (1 PM - 9 PM). Pay is $24-25/hr.
