Production Manager
Lapham-Hickey Steel Corp is seeking a full-time Production Shift Supervisor for our Night Shift to join our Paulding, OH plant team.

Manufactures products by completing production plans, improving methods, and supervising plant staff.
Duties And Responsibilities- Accomplishes production objectives by onboarding and orientation, assigning, and coaching employees, communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions and adhering to policies and procedures.
- Meets production operational standards by implementing production, quality, and customer service standards.
- Meets production financial standards by monitoring costs and implementing corrective actions.
- Completes production requirements by expediting work results, monitoring progress, and problem-solving.
- Improves workflow by eliminating stoppages, analyzing delays, and trying new methods.
- Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing the standards of procedure and regulation compliances.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
- Accomplishes manufacturing and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
- Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Three years of previous experience as a supervisor in a manufacturing setting required.
- Previous experience in process improvement, process management, and safety management, a plus.
- Working knowledge of the AS400 system.
- Strong communication skills; written and verbal.
- Ability and willingness to cooperate with co-workers and other supervisors/managers of the production team
- Ability to work with little supervision
