Job Description
Automation/Robotics Technician
The Automation/Robotics Technician will be responsible for over 100 robots (Sepro, Fanuc, etc.). The role involves PLC troubleshooting (Allen Bradley), diagnosing sensor issues on robots, dismantling defective machines, and installing new or repaired parts. The technician will install and repair electrical 480v systems, such as transformers and wiring, as well as electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment. Additional duties include performing robotic cell setup and changeovers, including program touch-ups, end of arm tooling adjustments, and fixture setups to achieve first-piece approval.
The technician must also be able to read blueprints and schematics.
- Pay: $32-40/hr.
- Shift: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift openings
- 5 years of experience as robotics/automation tech
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Ability to troubleshoot PLCS
- Experience with robotic arm changes
