Role Overview And Responsibilities

Introduction: Responsible for final circuit board preparation and coating process.

Key Responsibilities: Include the following/Other duties may be assigned.

  • Perform final assembly requirements on customer products
  • Install various types of hardware, adhesives and other items per manufacturing instructions
  • Follow requirements for Set up, 1st piece inspection and in‑process audits
  • Demonstrate proper handling precautions when working with process chemicals and materials
  • Prep/unprep basic components from steps in manufacturing instructions
  • Identify different types of RTV’s/conformal coatings and mark storage containers properly
  • Review shelf life and pot life requirements of adhesives and conformal coatings prior to usage
  • Operate and verify torque of torque wrenches
  • Follow labeling and stamping requirements for various customer products
  • Follow procedures for prep and unprep component masking materials in manufacturing instructions
  • De‑panel boards from panel with PCB separator or router
  • Demonstrate proper techniques in operating manual tape dispensers, brushes, hot melt glue guns, air‑powered dispensers, syringes to dispense RTV's, epoxies, spot mask or other adhesives
  • Follow applicable customer’s coating requirements in performing inspections and touch‑up of conformal coatings per manufacturing instructions

Demands

Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

Constantly walk, finger, grasp, feel 90‑100% of the time; frequently stoop, reach, push, lift, talk, hear and do repetitive motions 60‑90% of the time.

Math Ability: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions and percentages.

Visual Acuity: The Team Member is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities for operation of machines, including visual inspection, using measurement devices; and/or assembly of parts at distances close to the eyes. Ability or increased ability to see color, or perceive color differences, under normal lighting conditions.

Work Environment: The Team Member is subject to inside environmental conditions: protection from weather conditions but not room temperature changes, noise levels that require increased volume to be heard above ambient noise, atmospheric conditions including odors 90‑100% of the time and required PPE (full face respirator, gloves and apron).
