Assist facility manager or supervisor to ensure customer’s needs are met on assigned shift. Managing cycle counts, maintaining inventory records. Work closely with Keller facility managers/supervisors, client personnel, and vendors to resolve any inventory inaccuracies.
Duties and Responsibilities- Perform regular cycle counts and audits.
- Maintain proper monthly cycle count metrics.
- Maintain records consolidating cycle count issues from all shifts.
- Update spreadsheets daily and work with personnel and vendors directly to resolve issues.
- Communicate effectively and timely to management for proper adjustments to be made.
- Respond timely and professionally to all inventory requests made by vendors and client personnel.
- Provide efficient, courteous customer service through email and telephone.
- Resolve routine customer questions and complaints or refer to higher level.
- Maintain records, prepare required reports, and perform related typing/word processing and clerical duties.
- Direct contact with forklift drivers and shuttle drivers.
- Participate in corrective and preventative actions and continuous improvement projects.
- Verify shipping and receiving accuracy of product as documented in KOS.
- Daily forklift inspection. Check for damage or problems and report them to your supervisor.
- Lock out / tag out unsafe or inoperable equipment.
- Load, unload, and place product in proper storage bay stacked straight and neat.
- Report immediately all incidents occurring on the forklift.
- Accurately input information as trained with scanner, documenting all functions performed.
- Change propane tanks properly and safely as needed.
- For food grade warehouses, follow all food safety standards set forth in a facility and actively participate in the food safety culture.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Skilled in the use of common office machinery. Basic data entry and/or word processing skills (Office and Excel).
- Ability to work safely, follow safety procedures, and operate equipment safely.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Takes direction from leadership and gets along well with others.
- Ability to count and document accurately.
- Establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.
- Skilled in the use of warehouse management system to process incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Ability to stoop, push, pull, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must obtain Industrial Truck Certification through in house training if operating forklift.
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as requested by Supervisor.
- PPE as required by each facility – refer to handbook for specific requirements.
Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, unpleasant odors, and loud noises.
