About the FacilityThe construction of fairlife’s manufacturing facility in Webster, NY is underway. This state-of-the-art, 750,000 square foot greenfield plant is expected to be operational in late 2025 and will lay the foundation for fairlife’s next phase of growth as the leading dairy nutrition provider.
Shift Schedule12 Hour Days: This is a day shift position, from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The role follows a rotating 2‑2‑3 schedule: two days on, two days off, three days on, then two days off, two days on and three days off. Team members will work every other weekend, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Job PurposeReceive and load milk while maintaining high food quality and food safety standards. Hook up and unload tankers, run quality tests on milk and Clean‑In‑Place (CIP) tankers. Ensure the work area is kept clean and sanitary and perform regular sanitation within the raw milk receiving building.
Responsibilities- Follow all safety, working, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) rules. Keep the work center audit ready.
- Report to and follow the direction of Processing Supervisors.
- Ensure milk is received within specifications and meets all food safety and quality requirements.
- Inspect, document, and transfer products from supplier to designated raw material silo.
- Receive and load milk, byproducts, and filtration ingredients from tankers while maintaining high food quality and food safety standards.
- Test and document milk loads.
- Clean process equipment such as silos, lines and tankers, including hand cleaning, Clean‑In‑Place (CIP) and Clean‑Out‑of‑Place (COP) operations daily.
- Take accurate samples to monitor Clean‑In‑Place (CIP) system chemical concentration.
- Take accurate samples of products for QA testing.
- Monitor testing equipment and replace supplies as needed.
- Service pumps, valves and heat exchangers to maintain operational state per routine Preventative Maintenance (PM) schedule.
- Report immediately to maintenance and/or supervisor any damage, irregular activity, or unsafe condition concerning fairlife equipment, outside hauler equipment, and/or outside drivers.
- Follow escalation protocol based on production and quality triggers.
- Aid in training new personnel or upskilling team members.
- Effectively follow proper standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Complete every shift Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS), Centerline (CL), and Clean‑Inspect‑Lubricate (CIL) tasks on time and accurately.
- Communicate with processing about any anticipated schedule delays and/or changes.
- Must work safely and efficiently and follow all safety procedures including the use of safety equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot small problems and discern when issues may require input from levels of authority.
- Willingness to ask for assistance when the process is unclear.
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills at high school level.
- Basic computational skills and simple math reasoning.
- Ability to operate equipment effectively after the appropriate break‑in period.
- Must possess or be able to obtain an Industrial Truck Operator License.
- Proficiency in English; comfortable with written and verbal communication.
