Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Technical training in manufacturing, machining, fabrication, welding, or a related trade is a plus. Ability to read blueprints, work orders, tape measures, and production specifications. Knowledge of workplace safety practices and PPE requirements.
Experience Requirements 1+ year of experience operating industrial machinery in a manufacturing environment. Experience with waterjet cutters, plasma cutters, band saws, CNC equipment, forklifts, overhead cranes, and hoists preferred. Ability to perform measurements, inspections, and basic equipment troubleshooting. Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and teamwork skills. Willingness to work overtime as needed.
Physical Capabilities Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift. Safely work around heavy machinery, metal materials, and industrial equipment. Ability to wear required PPE and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Job Duties Operate waterjet cutting machines, band saws, plasma cutters, and other fabrication equipment. Measure, cut, load, secure, and process metal materials according to specifications. Read blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate production. Safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and hoists to move materials and finished products. Inspect finished parts for quality, dimensional accuracy, and compliance with requirements. Perform routine machine maintenance, equipment inspections, and basic troubleshooting.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all company safety standards.
