Salary Range: $25.00 To $26.00 Hourly
Work Environment:
On-site - approximately 80% shop floor
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (flexibility for 7:00 AM-4:00 PM)
Overtime:
Up to 20%, including occasional weekends, holidays, shutdowns, and off-hours
Travel:
Approximately 10% domestic and international travel to Canada and Mexico
We are seeking an Additive Manufacturing Machine Technician to support manufacturing operations in Georgetown, Kentucky. This hands-on position will operate and maintain industrial additive manufacturing/3D printing equipment and support the complete build process from machine setup through post-processing.
The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of experience operating 3D printing equipment and experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain additive manufacturing/3D printing machines.
- Set up equipment, load materials, and start production builds.
- Monitor equipment to help ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Safely unload completed builds.
- Perform post-processing and finishing of manufactured parts.
- Maintain accurate production logs and equipment service records.
- Troubleshoot operational and equipment issues.
- Work collaboratively with manufacturing and technical team members.
- Follow established safety procedures and shop-floor requirements.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1-2 years of experience operating 3D printing/additive manufacturing equipment.
- 1-2 years of manufacturing or production experience.
- Strong mechanical/technical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Comfortable working primarily in a shop-floor environment.
- Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends/holidays as required.
- Ability to travel approximately 10%.
- Experience with industrial additive manufacturing processes.
- Experience maintaining production documentation and managing data.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
This position is located at PEMC in Georgetown, Kentucky and is 100% on-site. Approximately 80% of the position is shop-floor based. Travel may include domestic locations as well as Canada and Mexico, primarily for trials, benchmarking, meetings, and observations.
Steel-toed shoes are required.
Contract Length: 12 months with possibility of extension
Education:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
