Auxiliary Marketing Student Ambassador

Position Summary:
The auxiliary marketing student ambassador reports to the Auxiliary Services Marketing Specialist and provides marketing support for a range of needs. The position assists the marketing and communications professional staff in completing marketing and communications tickets and tasks submitted by the UGA Bookstore, Dining Services, Transportation and Parking Services, Golf Course, and Vending. The role supports marketing and communications campaign development and implementation, assists with evaluation of metrics, and provides broad support for the team.
/ Responsibilities
- Assist with marketing and communications efforts, which may include graphic design, video development, photography, digital screen management, social media, website support, engagement opportunities, and production of marketing materials such as printing, laminating, delivery, and installations.
- Perform routine quality checks on marketing materials and signage in campus locations.
- Participate in tabling events and activities on campus, such as New Student Orientation, meal plan promotion, special events, and student employment recruitment.
- Assist with other projects and tasks as needed.
- Relevant or preferred education, experience, licensure, or certification in the position; knowledge of auxiliary services.
- Basic understanding of marketing and communications trends and skills, including social, digital, and print media.
- Customer service skills.
- Ability to be creative and solve problems.
- Interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be flexible and possess organizational skills.
- Desire to learn and work in a team environment.
Driving, lift, bend, stoop, squat, reach, crouch, and kneel; lift at least 25 pounds.
Other RequirementsDriving with a valid driver’s license is required. No P‑Card or direct access to financial resources. No security access. Background investigation and possible drug test required.
