Christian Church of Garrison is a small, Christ-centered congregation with a mature membership that is prayerfully seeking growth. We believe that true and lasting church growth begins with faithful teaching of God’s Word, intentional discipleship, and sharing the message of salvation through Jesus Christ.

• Develop outreach programs using church facilities
• Use programs as pathways to share the Gospel
• Encourage participation in worship and church life

• Design and oversee the church’s youth ministry strategy and goals
• Plan weekly youth group meetings and activities
• Organize special events
• Develop annual ministry calendars and schedules
• Manage youth ministry budgets and resources
• Oversee scheduling and use of classrooms and gym
• Manage registrations and communications
• Recruit and support volunteers

• Implement child and youth protection policies
• Maintain required background checks for volunteers
• Ensure proper supervision ratios during activities
• Manage emergency procedures and incident reporting
• Obtain and maintain parental consent forms and medical information for events

• Recruit, train, and supervise youth ministry volunteers
• Conduct volunteer orientation and ongoing development
• Delegate responsibilities to volunteer leaders
• Ensure appropriate child protection and safety procedures are followed
• Schedule and coordinate volunteer participation

• Personal faith in Jesus Christ and testimony of salvation
• Commitment to biblical authority
• Passion for ministry and outreach
• Organizational and leadership skills

First Christian Church of Garrison is open to considering both full-time and part-time ministry arrangements. Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and the expected level of involvement in the life of the church and its youth ministry.
