On CallEvery third day through the week (Mon-Thurs) and every third weekend.
PositionRegistered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab
ResponsibilitiesThe Cath Lab RN assesses implementation and evaluation of patients in the Cath Lab.
- Assists with cath procedures, medication administration and monitoring of cath patients.
- Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/healthcare errors.
- Formulates an individualized plan of care, revises the plan as indicated by the patient's response to treatment, and evaluates the overall plan daily for effectiveness.
- Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to the care team, provider, patient, and family following the chain of command as appropriate.
- Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
- Evaluates learning needs of the patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Advocates for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient, protecting their rights.

- Current Kentucky or compact state RN license.
- Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). - Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
