Full Time Behavioral Health Nurse (RN/LPN)

AMS Healthcare Staffing is seeking dedicated nurses (RN/LPN) to care for adults in a long‑term behavioral healthcare facility in Western Kentucky.

Hours - nights - 12‑hour shifts

Days - 12‑hour shifts

Long Term Assignments

• Provide care for patients with mental and behavioral health issues.
• Assess patient behavior and physical health information and deliver nursing care as directed.
• Administer prescribed medication and monitor patient’s responses/side effects.
• Document and report changes in patient’s behavior and health.
• Review patients’ charts.
• Transcribe orders from MD.
• Work with members of the interdisciplinary health care team.
• Educate patients and their families.

• Good communication skills.
• Ability to set boundaries.
• Hold an unencumbered nursing license.
• Nursing license from an accredited nursing school.
