: $32-46/hour based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Care: Provide high-quality care to patients recovering from cardiac procedures and surgeries in the Step-Down Unit.
• Monitoring: Continuously monitor patient vital signs and cardiac rhythms to detect and respond to changes in condition.
• Medication Management: Administer medications, manage intravenous therapies, and adjust treatments based on patient needs and physician orders.
• Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, specialists, and healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.

  Educate patients and families about recovery processes, treatment plans, and lifestyle modifications for optimal cardiac health.
• Documentation: Accurately document patient progress, interventions, and outcomes to ensure comprehensive care and compliance with standards.
• Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergencies and critical changes in patient status, utilizing advanced cardiac life support techniques as needed.

Qualifications:

• Active unencumbered RN license in Ohio or compact license.
• Previous experience in a cardiac or telemetry unit preferred.
• Strong assessment skills and ability to manage complex cardiac conditions.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
