Georgetown Community Hospital, located 12 minutes from Lexington, KY, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. The role is a NIGHT shift (7p-7a) and requires a member of a highly skilled team of ER nurses, physicians, and technicians.

Requirements for this position include graduation from an accredited school of nursing, a current RN license, current BS/BC certification, and the ability to acquire ACLS and PALS.

As a Nurse, you will learn and apply evidence‑based practices, and have the autonomy to make decisions for the best interest of your patients.

• Ensure delivery of patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient outcomes.
• Revise plan of patient care as needed.
• Provide compassion to patients and their families.
• Prioritize patient care based on acuity level.
• Assign triage levels.
• Complete continuing education courses as needed.
• Attend staff meetings and work as a team toward improvement goals.

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) from an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of KY.
• Critical‑thinking skills, decisive judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision, and ability to perform in a stressful environment.
