Georgetown Community Hospital, a 12 minute drive from Lexington, KY, is searching for a Registered Nurse to join our Bluegrass Pediatrics and Internal Medicine outpatient clinic. This is a full‑time position and you will be a member of a highly skilled team of nurses, physicians, medical assistants, and technicians servicing our community.

• As an RN you will ensure delivery of patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient outcomes.
• As an RN you would perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatment.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Collaborate as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Assist patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Work as an advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.

• Associate’s Degree ADN from an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree BSN or higher preferred.
• Current unencumbered license by KY Board of Nursing.

Being a Nurse requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
