Pediatric Private Duty Nurse; RN​/LPN | Night Shifts

Position Overview

Immediate need for 1:1 Home Care Private Duty Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) & Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) positions in the Louisville, KY area for day and night shifts.

Full- and part-time shifts are available with hourly pay ranges: RN $32–$40 and LPN $25–$30.

Bright Star Care Louisville is hiring RNs or LPNs to provide one‑on‑one private duty care for patients ranging from infants to seniors, including skilled bedside care with g‑tube, trach, ventilator, and catheter care.

• Current unrestricted RN or LPN license in Kentucky
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest X‑ray
• Minimum one year of documented bedside care experience
• Experience with g‑tubes, trachs/vent, and catheter care preferred
• Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance
• Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds

• Provide thoughtful care based on the personalized Plan of Care
• Monitor and track changes in the client/patient’s condition and inform the Nurse Manager and other appropriate personnel
• Proactively update client/patient families on plan of care, health changes, and concerns
• Maintain strong attention to detail, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Salary: $25.00–$40.00 per hour (LPN $25–30, RN $32–40). Compensation may vary based on skill, experience and location.

  Day shift, Night shift, Overnight shift (3rd shift)
• Weekly schedule:
  Monday‑Friday, rotating weekends, weekend availability
