As a Nuclear Medicine Technician at Centerpoint Health – Georgetown, you play a vital role in making communities healthier. Your skills, compassion, and dedication will make a remarkable difference in the lives of those we serve.

• Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals and other medications to patients and performs diagnostic studies as ordered by physicians.
• Administers radiopharmaceuticals and medications for patient imaging and therapeutic procedures.
• Processes data and enhances digital images using advanced computer technology.
• Provides images, data analysis, and patient information for diagnostic interpretation or therapeutic procedures.
• Evaluates images to determine the technical quality and calibration of instrumentation.
• Processes the images for radiologist review.

Applicants should have a current associate’s degree. Additional requirements include:

• Education: Graduate of a Program Discipline in Nuclear Medicine (required);
  Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Licenses: Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist by NMTCB if not grandfathered by the state.
