We are seeking a Bookstore Clerk to serve as a retail sales clerk for the bookstore, provide outstanding customer service, and conform to established policies and procedures.
Compensation & BenefitsStarting Pay Rate Range: $12.71–$13.25, commensurate with experience.

Serve as retail sales clerk for the bookstore, provide outstanding customer service, and conform to established policies and procedures.
Responsibilities- Bookstore Operations:
Assist with operations, including providing customer service to faculty, staff, students, and other patrons; preparing books and merchandise for resale (loading/unloading boxes, bar‑coding, pricing, shelving, creating displays and sales flyers); operating the point‑of‑sale system; balancing cash register drawer and verifying cash on hand; preparing deposits and daily cash register reports; following established policies and procedures; and performing general office duties. - Miscellaneous Duties:
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness, order, and professional appearance of the bookstore; perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Physical RequirementsMust be able to utilize applicable equipment necessary for the job, including other office equipment, and lift or move up to 50 pounds.
