Position Summary

Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates while touring stores and providing feedback. Tours to teach and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Introduces and leads company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicating business objectives to teams effectively.

Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards, following the One Best Way (OBW) service model, managing customer service initiatives for community outreach programs, ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are resolved, and providing action plans to correct deficiencies. Provides process‑improvement leadership to ensure a high‑quality customer experience, drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating PL statements, managing budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses, ensuring effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes, and developing action plans to mitigate shrink and meet sales and profit goals.

Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, recognizing associates, communicating consistently, ensuring a belonging mindset, recruiting qualified associates, and coordinating job‑related activities with key stakeholders. Builds high‑performing teams, embraces differences, creates a culture of belonging, and supports continuous learning and adaptability.
