As a Dry Eye Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist, you will cover a large territory and focus on a defined target list of physicians and practitioners within the territory. You will assure the needs of all partners are met within compliance guidelines while developing relationships and maintaining an active presence in the pharmaceutical community throughout the Cleveland, OH region (Remote Field Based).
Responsibilities- Build disease awareness with key partners and validate understanding of treatment initiation processes, patient identification, etc.
- Collaborate with partners internally and externally on prior authorization, payor restrictions, reimbursement stipulations, and patient referrals to support patient access.
- Manage the sales budget and grow sales across the territory through the development of an impactful territory plan and engaging communications.
- Employ business planning and local market knowledge to develop sales and customer networks.
- Grow relationships and communications with all partners and communities to develop a solid understanding of treatment algorithms and business dynamics within accounts.
- Implement compliant and medically relevant programs to effect significant customer satisfaction and sales.
- Cover and visit all customers in the area of responsibility according to their importance and potential.
- Manage accounts for all business-related aspects (sales, negotiation, development, relationship with owners and managers, defining solutions for customer needs).
- Develop excellent and fruitful relations with customers and opinion leaders.
- Participate, develop, and conduct different meetings and events (congresses, round tables, trainings).
- Establish and present action plans to achieve sales targets.
- Plan and track agreed account metrics and clearly communicate the progress of monthly and quarterly targets.
- Maintain constant touch on market evolution.
- Coordinate trainings, informative programs, and product presentations.
- Prospect the market for new accounts and identify growth opportunities.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs.; Associate +6 yrs.; M.S. +0 yrs.)
- Fluency in reading, writing, understanding, and communicating in English

- Experience in sales account management
- At least 2 years of proven experience in the health care industry (preferred eye care pharmaceutical or medical device field)
- Technical learning agility

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Self-control, self-confidence, reliability, strong business acumen, and organizational skills
- Valid driving license (category
