Relationship Banker Overview
As a Relationship Banker in Jackson, NJ, you will serve as a trusted advisor, building strong, long‑lasting relationships with customers while delivering tailored banking, lending, and investment solutions.
Responsibilities- Enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty by delivering personalized, seamless service across all interactions.
- Identify opportunities for cross‑selling banking products and services to existing and prospective customers.
- Proactively prospect for new clients through networking, referrals, lead calling, portfolio management, and community engagement.
- Conduct transactional, servicing, and product activities to meet customers’ financial needs.
- Address customer concerns and provide timely resolutions, fostering loyalty.
- Engage customers through digital platforms, educating them on self‑service options.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to risk and fraud defense.
- Collaborate with team members and partners to achieve branch goals and drive overall performance.
- Support nearby branch locations as needed based on business necessity.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 12+ months experience in retail banking sales, financial services sales, or consultative relationship sales, with proven success in establishing new customers and deepening relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and deliver results.
- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for helping others.
- Strong communication, consultative, and influence skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
- Basic computer proficiency and basic math skills.
- Ability to work flexible branch hours, including weekends and evenings.
- 3+ years of experience selling products and/or services in an incentive‑based environment.
- Strong relationship‑building skills with a focus on customer experience and loyalty.
- Experience with digital tools and technology to enhance customer engagement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Spanish language skills.
- Completed certifications related to banking or sales (if any).
Base Pay Range: $38,250 – $61,000 USD per year (annualized).
