Position Overview

We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative with strong mechanical aptitude and customer service skills to support our growing business. This role is responsible for managing customer inquiries, preparing quotes, processing orders, and building strong customer relationships across our product lines. Experience with industrial equipment, including pumps and related components, is beneficial but not required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries, providing product recommendations and solutions.
  • Manage the full inside sales process, including quoting, order entry, tracking, and follow‑up.
  • Respond to inbound requests and conduct proactive outbound outreach to support sales growth.
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of products, applications, pricing, and inventory.
  • Partner with outside sales, customer service, engineering, and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely order fulfillment.
  • Build strong customer relationships that drive repeat business and long‑term partnerships.
  • Support lead generation and broader sales initiatives as needed.
  • Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally.
  • Meet or exceed sales performance goals and contribute to company growth.
Qualifications
  • Mechanical, industrial, manufacturing, or technical experience preferred.
  • Experience in inside sales, customer service, account management, or industrial parts sales preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proven ability to multitask and manage detailed information accurately.
  • Comfortable using CRM systems, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Team‑oriented with a positive attitude and customer‑first mindset.
  • Education and Experience:

    High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Additional technical training, trade school, or college coursework preferred.
  • Combination of technical knowledge and customer‑facing experience is highly valued.
