Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician
Location: Georgetown, KY 40324
Shift Schedule- 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:20 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:20 AM
- Week 1: 4 days
- Week 2: 3 days
- Work only half the month on a normal rotation
- Overtime paid at 1.5x after 36 hours (week one) and after 40 hours (week two)
The Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and electronic systems for industrial production equipment and facilities. The role supports plant productivity by addressing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities Electrical & Controls- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
- Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems
- Perform work in compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC)
- Install and maintain switch gear, motors, transformers, drives, and control systems
- Test electrical systems for proper operation and safety
- Program, troubleshoot, modify, and repair:
- Kawasaki Robots
- CNC machines and servo drives
- Write and modify ladder logic
- Create, upload, and download PLC and HMI programs
- Configure VFDs
, network communications, and Ethernet protocols - Integrate new automation processes into existing equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical components
- Assist in diagnosing plumbing and facility-related issues
- Support preventive maintenance and equipment reliability initiatives
- Participate in job-related technical training
- Assist in training maintenance team members
- Promote safe work practices and continuous improvement
- Industrial electrical maintenance experience (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of:
- PLCs and automation systems
- Electrical circuits and controls
- Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Electrical degree, diploma, or certification
- State Journeyman Electrical License (current or expired – bonus)
- Ability to work any shift
, including nights, weekends, holidays, shutdowns, and overtime - Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking)
- Reliable transportation required
- Ability to work in:
- Non-temperature-controlled
- Dirty environments (graphite exposure)
- Hair follicle drug test
