Water Treatment Mechanics on our team are issued their own company service vehicle, giving them the independence and mobility to support projects across a wide service area. This role offers the unique opportunity to travel both in state and out‑of‑state, gaining hands‑on experience with a variety of systems, sites, and technologies. • Perform complex maintenance, repair, and installation of pumps, motors, valves, blowers, chemical feed systems, and other treatment equipment.
• Read blueprints and P&’s, possess electrical knowledge, basic plumbing skills, instrumentation and field set‑up and commissioning.
• Diagnose equipment and systems issues.
• Assist with the planning and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Collaborate with operations staff to support continuous plant performance and efficiency.
• Monitor operational performance of mechanical systems and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to water operations, including production data, maintenance logs, and regulatory documentation.
• Provide guidance and training to entry‑level technicians and staff professionals as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in water treatment operations is preferred.
• 3‑8 years of hands‑on experience in water and/or wastewater treatment.
• Thorough understanding of equipment operations and maintenance.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in computer applications for data management and reporting.

Anticipated salary range is $22.90 per hour to $34.40 per hour.
