We’re looking for a dependable Maintenance Technician to support the reliability and performance of equipment and facilities across MPW operations. This role focuses on preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and general repairs to ensure a safe, efficient, and compliant work environment.

What You’ll Bring Mechanical aptitude – Ability to diagnose and resolve basic equipment and facility issues using standard tools and techniques.

Attention to detail – Consistently identifies potential problems and completes work to safety and quality standards.

Reliability and work ethic – Dependable in completing assigned tasks, maintaining schedules, and supporting operational needs.

Communication skills – Effectively communicates with team members and leadership regarding repairs, updates, and site conditions.

What You’ll DoInspect buildings, systems, and equipment to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.

Perform preventative maintenance (PM) inspections on equipment and facility systems.

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems to maintain functionality and reduce downtime.

Complete basic electrical maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and component replacement.

Conduct general equipment repairs using hand tools and standard maintenance practices.

Perform manual repairs such as fixing structures, components, or mechanical parts as needed.

Maintain overall facility upkeep, including routine maintenance and housekeeping tasks.

Assist with diagnosing equipment issues and recommending corrective actions.

Support temporary field assignments to maintain and repair equipment at remote job sites.

Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and adherence to company policies.

Document maintenance activities, inspections, and completed work as required.

Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational goals.

What You’ll Need High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training in industrial maintenance preferred.
1–2 years of maintenance, technical school, or hands-on experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment preferred.

Basic knowledge of hand tools, equipment repair, and mechanical systems; electrical experience is a plus.

Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing or walking for extended 8–12 hour shifts, and performing repetitive motions.

Ability to bend, kneel, climb, and work in confined spaces or at varying heights while performing maintenance tasks.

Willingness to wear required PPE, including respirators, and work in environments with exposure to chemicals, fumes, industrial noise, and varying weather conditions.

Ability to travel to field locations for extended periods (days to weeks) and work schedules that may exceed standard 8-hour shifts, including overtime, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Strong awareness of safety practices and ability to maintain alertness and fitness for duty in active work environments.
