As a Body / Battery Mechanical Technician, you will:
- Equipment Installation & Commissioning:
Set up, align, and test heavy machinery, robots, and automated systems for new model changes and production lines - Mechanical Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment failures, minimizing production downtime. - Preventive Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance on conveyor systems, weld equipment, and battery manufacturing modules to ensure longevity and peak performance - Quality Compliance:
Verify that assemblies, such as body welds or battery seals, meet strict manufacturing standards and tolerances - Safety Protocols:
Enforce strict lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, operate hoists or cranes safely, and maintain a hazard-free work environment
This is a Full Time opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
- An associate degree in mechanical or electrical engineering technology, industrial maintenance, or completion of a relevant trade school program
- Requires 2+ years of hands-on mechanical, robotic, or automation experience within a high-volume manufacturing setting
- Proficiency in reading complex mechanical blueprints, electrical schematics, and using precision diagnostic/measurement tools.
- Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), robotics software, and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
Pay Rate: $45-$50 per hour
* Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
