Electrical Controls Technician
Location:Georgetown, KY
Salary:$60K-$68K/year (DOE)
Workstyle:Full-time, Onsite (Up to 35% travel)

Controls Electrician / Panel BuilderA growing company serving the automotive manufacturing industry is seeking a Controls Electrician / Panel Builder to join its engineering team. This hands-on role is responsible for building, wiring, testing, and commissioning industrial control panels and material handling systems. Approximately up to 35% of travel is required for project support.
Key Responsibilities- Read electrical schematics and build/wire industrial control panels.
- Assemble PLC control panels, power supplies, motor control circuits, and safety circuits.
- Perform secondary wiring for conveyors and automated machine cells.
- Debug and troubleshoot electrical equipment after fabrication.
- Maintain an organized and efficient panel shop.
- Support commissioning and startup activities at customer sites.
- Associate degree in Electrical Technology or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Experience with electrical panel assembly, wiring, and industrial controls.
- Ability to read electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Willingness to travel up to 35% (project-dependent).
