Position Overview
As an Activities Associate, you’ll lead recreational and social activities that bring residents together, fostering community and enhancing quality of life. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has a creative mindset, and is dedicated to improving residents’ lives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead engaging programs by organizing and executing activities, events, and entertainment that promote socialization, creativity, and physical well‑being for residents.
- Promote participation by communicating upcoming activities and events to residents, encouraging them to join and enjoy.
- Tailor activities to resident needs by assessing cognitive and physical abilities to determine appropriate activity levels, ensuring all activities are inclusive.
- Prepare for success by setting up and organizing activity spaces, ensuring all equipment and supplies are ready for use.
- Lead and document activities by facilitating individual and group activities such as arts and crafts, games, music sessions, exercise routines, and social gatherings, while recording participation and outcomes.
- High School Diploma or GED/HSE preferred.
- 0-1 Years of Relevant experience preferred.
