Job Description & How to Apply Below

We’re looking for a hands‑on Retail CRM Sr. Engineer to drive the engineering practices of the CRM platform team. You’ll act as the squad’s lead engineer and partner with product managers, designers, and other engineers to build and enhance CRM platforms that power personalized, compliant, and efficient customer engagement across the retail banking lifecycle. You’ll influence architectural decisions, own technical delivery, and coach engineers as you help modernize and scale a CRM stack that supports retail bankers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own end‑to‑end technical strategy and implementation for CRM capabilities (customer onboarding, journeys, sales automation, campaigns, support workflows).
  • Lead a team of developers to design, develop and deploy robust, scalable and secure software solutions in compliance with enterprise standards.
  • Translate product goals and customer needs into scalable, high‑performance architecture and clean code.
  • Collaborate with the product owner and squad members to define stories, tasks, and acceptance criteria.
  • Provide hands‑on engineering leadership—write code, conduct code reviews, and remove blockers.
  • Drive integration with core banking, data lakes, marketing platforms, and third‑party CRM solutions.
  • Ensure platform security, performance, compliance, and auditability in line with financial regulations.
  • Partner with enterprise architecture, data governance, security, and Dev Ops teams to align with broader tech strategy.
  • Mentor engineers in design patterns, test automation, and clean code practices.
  • Support release planning, capacity estimation, and iterative delivery through Agile ceremonies.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to development standards and improve team skills.
  • Provide direction and recommendations on solutions for security vulnerabilities.
  • Represent security variances in security technology review meetings.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks and implement solutions to ensure system scalability, reliability, and availability.
  • Drive high standards for code quality, testing, and documentation.
  • Provide recommendations for tools and develop plans and strategies to improve overall hygiene for code development, delivery, and release practices.
  • Continue to develop a culture of modern software development practices.
  • Own the applications and operational system tasks associated with the applications.
  • Ensure seamless communication between development teams and other departments such as QA and Enterprise Architecture.
  • Ensure timely delivery and continuous improvement.
Skills
  • Solid hands‑on experience with Oracle Siebel (25.1 and higher) and exposure to modern CRM ecosystems (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Pega, or custom‑built platforms).
  • Experience with Siebel installation, ecosystem and infrastructure.
  • Solid backend engineering experience (Java/.NET/Node.js preferred). Front‑end familiarity (React/Angular) is a plus.
  • Deep knowledge of integration patterns: APIs (REST/Graph

    QL), messaging (Kafka/MQ), ETL pipelines.
  • Strong relational database experience (SQL, Oracle).
  • Familiarity with customer data platforms (CDPs), campaign management tools, and personalization engines.
  • Strong knowledge of Dev Ops practices, code management (Bitbucket, Git Lab), CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes) and cloud infrastructure.
  • Utilized code review tools such as Sonar Qube.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Cypress, Mocha, etc.
  • Experience working in Agile squads using Scrum or Kanban.
  • Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (Terraform, Cloud Formation), and Dev Ops tools.
  • Comfort working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Financial services or regulated industry experience is a strong plus.
Experience
  • 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership role.
  • 7+ years of experience with Oracle Siebel and exposure to modern CRM ecosystems (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Pega, or custom‑built platforms).
  • 5+ years of experience with databases such as Oracle or SQL.
  • 2+ years of experience in a tech lead role demonstrating leadership and team management skills.
  • 5+ years of experience in banking/finance industry.
Nice to Have
  • Exposure to customer identity resolution, consent management, and data privacy frameworks.
  • Certifications in multiple CRM platforms is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Marketing Leads management tools.
Compensation, Benefits and Duration

Minimum Compensation: USD 40,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 140,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
Medical, vision, and dental benefits, 401k retirement plan, variable pay/incentives, paid time off, and paid holidays are available for full‑time employees.
