Safe operation of buses on campus routes and occasional charters.
Complete paperwork associated with assignments.
Follow written and verbal instructions by supervisory personnel.
Occasional bus washing and other non-driving tasks.
Attend safety meetings occasionally as scheduled.
Duties and Time Allocation- 80% Safe operation of buses on routes and charters.
- 10% Wash buses and perform other non-driving duties.
- 5% Complete paperwork associated with assignments.
- 5% Attend safety meetings occasionally.
- Minimum:
High school diploma or equivalent. - Must have a Georgia Class B CDL (or equivalent) with air brakes and passenger endorsements.
- Valid driver's license.
- Safe driving record.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
- Sitting for long periods.
- Pushing, pulling, reaching.
- Driving as required.
Drug and alcohol testing required by US Department of Transportation.
Background investigation including criminal background check and possible credit check.
