Truck Driver CDL A Driver Daily

Position Description

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Georgetown, KY, offering weekly pay and excellent benefits. The role involves driving a 53‑ft dry van with primarily local routes and handling auto‑parts freight.

Weekly guarantee: $1,280 per week.

• Solo Miles Pay: $0.565 per mile (2,500 miles per week)
• Solo Stops Pay: $16.00 per stop (5–15 stops per week)
• Drop and Hook Pay: $7.50 per drop/hook
• Shutdown Bonus: $2,000 in two installments
• Safety Bonus: $250 per quarter if applicable

Schedule:

Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday; start time based on bid system (AM or PM).

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder drug test
• Pass a Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers (last 3 years)
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Class A experience: 9 months in the past 3 years OR 2 years in the past 5 years OR 5 years in the past 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, and policies

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs
• Load/unload freight or assist in loading/unloading if required by the customer
• Perform other duties as assigned
