Our Fort Recovery Feed & Animal Division in Mercer and Darke counties, in Ohio, produces and delivers feed while providing support to our contract farmers raising animals for production.
Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 3rd shift Feed Delivery Driver to join our CDL team in Fort Recovery.
(Sign-On Bonus to be paid as $500 each month for the first six months. Internal candidates must commit to at least 1 year in this position to be eligible.)
SHIFT HOURSSunday through Thursday 7:00pm-5:00am
STARTING HOURLY RATE$25.30 with the potential of increasing to $25.80 after 90 days
ADDITIONAL PAYMonthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)
Job Functions- Delivering all feed as scheduled
- Properly disinfecting trucks and using proper biosecurity attire.
- Completing a daily inspection of tractor/trailer and maintain cleanliness per DOT Commercial Driving Inspections.
- Completing driver logs and inspection/maintenance reports.
- Must be 21 years of age and have a Class A CDL
- Must have 2 year’s driving experience, along with a clean driving record
- Ability to tolerate adverse weather conditions and dusty conditions
- Ability to be on feet for prolonged periods of time and climb feed bin ladders
