Job Summary

Responsible for driving a tractor‑trailer in compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations as well as company policies and procedures to transport various materials in a safe and timely manner.

Medium/Heavy work — Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

• Be prepared to deliver materials to company customers as specified on paperwork.
• Maintain and coordinate appropriate deliver/pickup related paperwork.
• Properly secure and cover delivery and pickup loads according to DOT regulations and company policy or as directed by management.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report to traffic department.
• Maintain logs and other appropriate paperwork as required by DOT regulation and company policy.
• Back hauling of loads as required.
• Complete periodic communications to Traffic Department upon completion of each delivery and/or pickup stop.
• Must be flexible to constantly changing conditions as they relate to work schedule and project site conditions.
• Safety sensitive for own or others safety.
• All drivers must attend all required training including quarterly and annual training.
• Demonstrated initiative to proactively seek out work and complete tasks.

• Dependable and consistent attendance/punctuality.
• Comply with all DOT, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCRs), and/or Company Policy regarding the operations of your vehicle.
• Special projects as assigned by management.

High school or equivalent diploma with training in the operation of tractor trailer combinations.

C.D.L. A license required.
