Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update key databases (customers, fleets, barges, vessels, etc.)
- Track and document charter vessel status, including on/off charter and downtime.
- Update costs in operating system as needed for fleets, wash docks, and towing.
- Ensure accuracy of data entered into Open Top Hopper systems.
- Learn various river segments and geographical knowledge of marine areas serviced and related towing requirements.
- Maintain knowledge and understanding of covered and open hopper freight values and pricing impact.
- Communicate with Logistics Managers/Dispatchers about fleets and vessels.
- Communicate and coordinate with marine service vendors.
- Conduct data research to support Leadership and Logistics teams.
Qualifications:
- Accuracy and attention to detail with ability to manage and prioritize time.
- Proficient with Excel and pivot tables required, along with strong skills and proficiency in other Microsoft programs.
- Self‑motivated and eager to learn.
- Experience/knowledge of marine industry preferred.
