Bus Operator (Student) Job Summary

Safe operation of buses on campus routes and occasional charters. Complete paperwork associated with assignments. Follow written and verbal instructions as required. Occasional bus washing and other non-driving tasks are required from time to time. Drug testing required.

• Safe operation of buses on route and occasional charters. (80%)
• Wash buses and perform other non-driving related duties as required from time to time. (10%)
• Complete paperwork associated with assignments. (5%)
• Attend safety meetings as occasionally scheduled. (5%)

• Student with full-time enrollment (≥12 credit hours) at the University of Georgia or at least 6 credit hours for this semester.
• Current or willing to obtain a Class B Passenger CDL with air brakes and passenger endorsements.
• Good driving record and communication skills.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug test.

Sitting for long periods of time, pushing, pulling, and reaching. Driving.
