Position Description

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Georgetown, KY. We offer weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

• Weekly guaranteed $1,280 per week.
• Solo miles pay: $0.565 per mile (average 2,500 miles per week).
• Solo stops pay: $16.00 per stop (5‑15 stops per week).
• Drop and Hook pay: $3.00 per drop/hook.
• Shutdown bonus: $2,000 paid in two installments.
• Safety bonus: up to $250 per quarter if applicable.
• Schedule:
  
  Monday‑Friday, some Saturdays.

• Deliver SOLO to KY, TN, IN, OH, IL, MI, WV.
• Route type:
  Home daily.
• Tractor type:
  Day cab.
• Trailer type:
  Dry van 53 ft with swing doors.
• Freight:
  No‑touch auto parts.

• Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules.
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards, maintain accurate records and logs.
• Load/unload freight or assist with loading/unloading as required by the customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder drug test.
• Pass a Ryder background check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers (past 3 years).
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Class A verifiable experience in a tractor‑trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months within past 3 years OR 2 years within last 5 years OR 5 years within last 10 years.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
