Yard Warehouse

Overview

Full‑time Yard Associate will act as a material handler and forklift operator building loads for deliveries while maintaining a safe, clean and well‑organized lumber yard and warehouse. The role includes responsibilities such as building and unloading freight, operating forklift, communicating delays, maintaining the yard, and performing other duties as assigned.

• Build loads for delivery and unload freight including lumber and building supplies.
• Operate forklift and maintain certification.
• Communicate delays or discrepancies with management.
• Maintain lumber yard and warehouse in a clean and organized manner.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information to others one‑on‑one.
• Periodically lift up to 80 pounds.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
