Landscape Maintenance Production Manager

ND Landscape Services, Georgetown, MA. Location-based salary range: $70,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year.

POSITION SUMMARY

ND Landscape Services has been providing Full-Service Landscaping for clients in the North Shore and Metro North area since 1980. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Landscape Maintenance Production Manager to oversee and manage daily operations for our landscape crews, ensuring high-quality work and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving performance, improving margins, and maintaining positive relationships with both customers and staff.

• Achieve Gross Margin as outlined in the budget, focusing on revenue hours, efficiency, hourly crew wages, material markups, and gross profit.
• Ensure high-quality landscape work through job audits, customer feedback, and coaching, meeting performance expectations and managing quality control.
• Coach, develop, and hold accountable direct reports to achieve performance goals, ensuring the retention of top talent and maintaining team efficiency.
• Manage the schedule board with AMs to meet customer expectations and maximize operational efficiency, ensuring work is scheduled in advance and communicated clearly to customers.
• Oversee accurate and timely paperwork completion, including work orders, purchase orders, and accurate entries in mobile applications.
• Manage fleet and equipment to ensure proper maintenance, operational readiness, and effective communication with the Fleet Manager.
• Play a lead role in Snow Operations during the winter.

• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to coach and mentor staff.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail, ensuring quality work and accurate recordkeeping.
• Excellent communication skills to build and maintain relationships with both customers and staff.
• Strong financial acumen, with the ability to monitor P&L statements, budgets, and other financial metrics.

• Proven experience in landscape management, operations, or a related field.
• At least 3-5 years of leadership experience in managing teams and operations.
• Experience managing financials, budgets, and P&L statements in a service-driven environment.
• Knowledge of landscape industry standards, quality control processes, and customer service best practices.

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, as needed for equipment and material handling.
• Ability to stand, walk, and navigate outdoor terrain as needed.
• Ability to use a computer and sit at a desk indoors for extended periods for administrative tasks and communication.
