Westaff is hiring Mechanical Assemblers for Georgetown, MA

Monday - Friday
1st shift: 6am - 2:30pm $20
2nd shift: 2:30pm - 11pm $23
Essential Functions of the Mechanical Assembler:
- Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, and parts lists; gathering parts, sub-assemblies, tools, and materials.
- Positions parts and sub-assemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
- Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and sub-assemblies.
- Product Assembly - Using hand tools (drills, picks, wrenches, hammers, tape measure)
- Ability to work in a fast paced, large non-temperature controlled manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift 10-30 lbs. with the assistance of another employee or using a cart
- Standing a minimum of 8 hours a day
- Sitting a minimum of 0 hours a day
- Walking a minimum of 8 hours a day
- Pulling/Pushing a minimum of 4 hours a day
- Ability to pass physical exam, criminal background and drug screening
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
