MOR PPM Inc. is seeking light/medium equipment operators in Georgetown, SC. The Operator is responsible for proper care and operation of equipment such as bulldozers, front end loaders, backhoes, and water trucks and for maintaining a safe working environment.

• Operates heavy equipment such as front end loaders, backhoes, bulldozers and water trucks.
• Services and performs general and preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Transports and delivers materials.
• Coordinates and plans routes in an industrial setting with focus on working safely.
• Strong work ethic and physical ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
• Knowledge of basic vehicle inspection and maintenance including tire pressure, checking oil and water levels.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of experience in heavy equipment operating in an industrial setting is required.
• Possession of a current valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of proper operation of heavy equipment as well as safety standards.

• Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through Docu Sign.
• May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must possess enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above.
• Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas.
• Must have full range of motion consistent with age.
• Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders.
• Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises.
• Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces.
• Safety/Steel toe shoes are required.
